Sonic X Shadow Generations head Takashi Iizuka recently shared more information about the upcoming remasters story and how the new Shadow-centric content will tie into the original game. Back in January, Sega announced an updated version of Sonic Generations, a 2011 anniversary title that remixed levels from across the franchise in honor of the titular hedgehogs 20th birthday. Sonic X Shadow Generations wont just be the old game with a new coat of paint though, as there will also be additional levels centered around Sonics famous arch-rival Shadow the Hedgehog.
