Interacting with the withered arm in Mohgwyn Palace sends the player to the Realm of Shadow, where numerous dungeons and catacombs await for the player to venture and explore. The launch of the Elden Ring DLC has seen many new additions in terms of weapons and other items. A total of 20 new Spirit Ashes have been added to the game, some of which are tied behind questlines; others might require the player to defeat challenging dungeon bosses.
