Gothic developer Piranha Bytes has reportedly forever closed its doors as part of Embracer Group's still-ongoing cost-cutting efforts.

German developer Piranha Bytes has reportedly been shut down. Best known for its seminal Gothic series, the THQ Nordic subsidiary has been in business for 27 years.
