Filming has been completed on Bosch: Legacy season 3, but plot details are being kept under wraps. However, some details for the upcoming season can be drawn from Michael Connelly's source material. Bosch: Legacy season 3 will be based on Connelly's 2022 book, Desert Star, and his second Harry Bosch book, The Black Ice, released in 1993. Desert Star is a joint Harry Bosch and Renee Ballard adventure, and it'll also provide the basis for the debut season of the Renee Ballard spin-off series.
