Established all the way back in 1970, San Diego Comic-Con is still one of the largest annual conventions in North America, frequently packing well over 100,000 attendees into San Diego Convention Center's many different halls. While it was originally an event strictly focused on celebrating comic books, San Diego Comic-Con has expanded exponentially in the last few decades, to the point where it now encompasses practically every facet of the pop-culture world, from movies to TV shows to video games.
