Hades 2 continues where the previous game left off but with a new protagonist. It centers around the mythology of Melinoe and how she traverses the Underworld and the surface to stop the plans of her grandfather, Chronos. Although the journey focuses on her story, it isn't a secret that some members of her direct family could also play a significant role in her battle against the Titan of Time. This means the developers may be considering the return of a popular character from the original Hades and using him in ways that will make the sequel more interesting.
