According to newly released sales data, a critically-acclaimed title from 2020 was the best-selling video game of May 2024.

Recently published sales data shows that Ghost of Tsushima was the best-selling video game in the US for May 2024. Developed by PlayStation first-party studio Sucker Punch, the 2020 samurai action-adventure title was initially released as a PlayStation 4 exclusive. One year later, Ghost of Tsushima was made available for the PlayStation 5 as an upgraded "Director's Cut" version.
