Like any other shnen action series, My Hero Academia has a lot of supplemental material not written by its original author, Kohei Horikoshi, like movies or filler episodes for its anime adaptation. However, something that keeps this franchise apart from its contemporaries is that most of this side content was eventually added back into the storys canon in one way or another.
