An Elden Ring player suffered an unfortunate and anticlimactic bug, instantly killing them as they attempted to approach an optional boss in the game's new Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The player attempted to take out the infamous Putrescent Knight, an optional boss featured in Shadow of the Erdtree, but quickly faced the most unforgivable obstacle in Elden Ring: gravity.
