When Concord was first announced, it was met with severe backlash and general disdain from the gaming community. Many criticized it for "chasing trends" by being a live-service hero shooter game, and others threw shade at the game for its character designs. I went into Concord's early access beta with extreme skepticism, but now that it's over, I can't wait for the open beta to start this weekend. From what I have played of it so far, Concord has completely blown away my expectations, and it's genuinely one of the most entertaining new games I have played all year.
