Starry Studio's Once Human is a wide-open survival game that emphasizes building a territory, scavenging for food and other items, and crafting better tools and weapons to take on the game's horrific monsters. Though Once Human is a sandbox game at heart, offering players the freedom to play as they wish, there is a sense of linearity in progressing through the main quest. However, when it comes to side tasks, players have more of an option on whether to pursue them or not.
