NetherRealm Studios, the developer in charge of the Mortal Kombat and Injustice franchises, lays off a significant number of employees.

Mortal Kombat developer NetherRealm Studios has reportedly laid off at least 50 employees, including all the members of its mobile team. NetherRealm Studios is currently working on Mortal Kombat 1, the 12th mainline entry in the legendary fighting game series.
