Players have their own rooms to decorate in Monster Hunter Rise, and there are a number of ways to get furnishings to display in the cozy little home.

Monster Hunter Rise is a game that provides a satisfying challenge to solo players, but the greatest allure comes from its multiplayer features. The Monster Hunter series is known for pitting parties of hunters against fearsome creatures in epic quests. Longtime fans are not strangers to meeting up with their buddies in an online Gathering Hub.

What's new to Monster Hunter Rise, though, is the ability to invite other players to Village areas outside the Hub - including a private room that can be decorated with trinkets and trophies that the hunter has earned.

The private room can be customized in some really fun ways in Monster Hunter Rise. It's even possible to display screenshots that the player has taken in-game using the new Camera Mode feature. Beyond that, there are shelves and nooks where trinkets can be put on display to give the room more allure or to serve as trophies of the hunter's prowess. There's even a prominent place of honor where a gorgeously painted hanging scroll can preside over the home to further celebrate the player's past deeds. This guide will provide insight on how to earn these attractive cosmetic rewards.

Updated May 27th, 2021 by Russ Boswell: Monster Hunter Rise is starting to really hit its stride, with recent updates and a successful and entertaining crossover event under its belt. Developers are constantly adding new stuff to the game and that includes visual and decorative items. In fact, they've already added a small handful of new Monster Hunter Rise room trinkets. Players that are looking for new hanging scrolls have even more content to unpack and it looks like we'll be seeing more additions in the future. Because of this, we wanted to revisit this guide and offer an updated look at how to grab trinkets and room decorations, as well as what's available. Here's even more info on how to get trinkets in Monster Hunter Rise.

Occasionally, players will return to the Village from a quest and receive a message that a sale is going on at the Market. It goes without saying that this is a prime opportunity to splurge one's savings on restocking a dwindling item box, but it's also a chance to nab a trinket. During a sale, it's possible to risk a small amount of Zenny to win items in the lottery.

If the player scores a jackpot, they'll win the featured item and several other useful goods. On rare occasions, the featured item will be a trinket that can be displayed in the player's home.

Curious hunters will have come across at least a few relics that are hidden across the various maps in Monster Hunter Rise. The merchant Kagero is particularly interested in these relics, and will reward players who find enough of them.

There are 10 area-specific relics to be found in each map, and reporting to Kagero after finding all 10 for a zone will result in a few trinkets becoming accessible. Collectors should find all 10 from each map, as well as the 10 Rampage Relics that are hidden across all zones, and complete the whole set!

Rondine is the trader who attends her submarine fleet in the Buddy Plaza. She will have various scrolls that players can purchase in exchange for Kamura Points. Some scrolls become available via story progression. Other scrolls depict the various monsters that can be hunted in the game, and become available after successfully hunting 10 individuals of that species.

While the room customization in Monster Hunter Rise can feel barebones to players coming from Monster Hunter: World, the new features are welcome indeed. Collecting furniture items is a fun excuse to explore the beautiful hunting grounds in-depth, and inviting other players to show off one's decoration sensibilities is a great social activity between quests. With more updates coming in the future, housing content can only grow and expand from here.

Currently, players can get their hands on 74 different items, including:

  • 45 Monster Hanging Wall Scrolls
  • 5 Scene-Based Hanging Wall Scrolls
  • 12 Trinkets
  • 12 Monster Carvings

With 74 items to track down, players will need to spend a lot of time grinding out monster hunts and collecting Zenny. Unfortunately, they'll also need a lot of luck, specifically when it comes to snagging all 12 trinkets from the Shop Lottery. Here's a checklist if you're interested in collecting everything:
