Having access to a workbench is very important in 7 Days To Die. While it is possible to survive the first week using only basic materials crafted in the player's inventory, it won't take long for those tools and weapons to become ineffective. Unlike previous versions of the game, 7 Days To Die players won't be able to take down an existing workbench and rebuild it at their base. They will instead have to learn how to craft one for themselves.
