Based on a recent financial report, Nintendo fans have attempted to narrow down when exactly Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will be released. After nearly five years since Metroid Prime 4: Beyond restarted development, the game was re-revealed at the June 2024 Nintendo Direct. It featured a brief showcase of what Retro Studio has been working on for the game, and even gave a release window of 2025.
