Starting with the original 2007 title, Shadow of Chornobyl, STALKER has built up a dedicated fanbase for its immersive and meticulous gameplay and world. STALKER introduced players to a sandbox set in the Exclusion Zone and tasked them with uncovering its mysteries and overcoming its monsters. As one of the precursors of the genre set to bring it into the modern generation, the forthcoming sequel, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, has been a long time coming as well, due to various circumstances.
