Scream 7 is returning to its roots, with plans in place to focus on the legacy of the franchise. Neve Campbell's Sidney Prescott is set to be the main character once again, after playing a supporting role in Scream (2022) and not featuring at all in Scream 6. It is hoped that the return of the classic elements of a Scream movie will also lead to a truly shocking Ghostface reveal in Scream 7.
