Many features have been introduced during the Animal Crossing games' evaluation to enhance players' comfortable and fun playthrough experiences. A few good examples would be new voices for different personalities in New Leaf or the ability to swim in New Horizons. Although there are many great additions, one particular feature, while still useful, can be seen as somewhat underutilized. The next game in the Animal Crossing mainline series could be an opportunity for it to become much more than what it was when introduced.
