It's not clear yet whether The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is bringing the franchise back to its roots entirely, as the abilities of Zelda's new Tri Rod alone are indicative of a much larger and more malleable world than that of classic Zelda titles. That being said, Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom's scale does seem to be drawn back much further than the series' most recent titles, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Zelda: Breath of the Wild, so the likelihood of more classic franchise elements making an appearance seems higher than it has in quite some time. One of the more anticipated classic Zelda features that was largely missing from the series' last two mainline installments is dungeons.
