At every corner, Marvel Rivals has been compared to hero shooters that have come before it. With Marvel Rivals following the typical hero shooter formula quite closely in many ways, these comparisons are only natural, and in the case of certain character abilities, there are some undeniable similarities to some of those found in Overwatch. That being said, Marvel Rivals is far from a shameless copy.
