Avowed is the next big AAA role-playing game from Obsidian Entertainment, the developers of acclaimed titles like Fallout: New Vegas, Knights of the Old Republic 2, and The Outer Worlds. Set in the same universe as the studio's Pillars of Eternity series, this upcoming fantasy action RPG places players in the shoes of an envoy who's tasked with finding the cause behind a mysterious disease that's plagued a lush region known as the Living Lands. Avowed is primarily designed with a first-person perspective in mind, but just like Bethesda RPGs, the game can also be played in third-person.
