The game has introduced in game content that ties in with other famous franchises from many forms of media. Video game icons such as Pyramid Head, Albert Wesker, and Nemesis, and even characters straight from Hollywood's big screen such as Michael Myers, Freddy Kreuger, and the Xenomorph from the Alien franchise have been included in Dead by Daylight in one form or another.
