2020's Journey to the Savage Planet tasked players with exploring the wild, critter-packed planet of ARY-26 as an employee of Kindred Aerospace, the "fourth-best interstellar exploration company." Now, Kindred has been bought out by mega-corporation Alta Interglobal; in Revenge of the Savage Planet, players take on the role of a colonist sent in a cryo-sleep pod to a brand-new, faraway planet. However, as soon as they arrive, they find out they've been fired. It's then up to the player to survive, recover their lost gear, catalog the wildlife, and possibly uncover the secrets of Alta's corruption. Revenge of the Savage Planet takes Journey to the Savage Planet's formula and makes it bigger and better with more planets to explore, more creatures to meet, more tools to use, and of course, more hilarious commercials to watch.
