Fortnite's Chapter 2 Season 6 is about to come to an end this month and players can find out more details about it in this short guide.

Every few months, Epic Games releases a brand-new season of Fortnite with a new theme that brings in a new map, costumes, items, features, and more. This current season's theme is Primal and brought in more wildlife, crafting, and primitive weaponry. Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 is coming to its end very soon, and many fans wonder just when the end date is.

According to Epic Games' official Fortnite site, the Primal season is set to end on June 7, which is only a few days away. If everything goes to plan and Epic Games chooses not to delay the upcoming season as it has before, players should expect to jump into the new season, Season 7, just a day or so after June 7.

As previously mentioned, the new Fortnite season should be launching on or around June 8, but Epic has yet to confirm the start date and the season's theme itself. However, there have been many rumors surrounding the next season that aliens will be coming into the game, as players have begun to notice crop circles on the map itself, among other details. There was also a rumor that points to Kangaroos coming onto the map as part of an alien invasion. This season could also have a futuristic-esque setting since this season's theme was all about old-school weaponry; the next one could be the polar opposite, bringing in alien weapons like ray guns or even blasters.

For Fortnite's seasons so far from Chapter 2, there has been one themed around Marvel heroes, another one all about water, and even one based on secret agents. The rumored alien thing would certainly throw players for a loop, as it's pretty different from what Fortnite typically is. Chapter 1 of Fortnite had a total of 10 seasons before transitioning over to Chapter 2, but fans will just have to wait and see what happens with the rest of the chapter. However, if it's anything like the previous one, fans expect at least three more seasons after season 7 starts in June.

And like every new Fortnite season, there will be plenty of new challenges and quests for players to complete for extra XP towards the season's battle pass.

Fortnite is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
