If you favor melee weapons in Biomutant, you'll want to get your hands on these. Here's a look at some of the best weapons in the game.

The combat gameplay of Biomutant can be very fast-paced and attention-demanding. Thankfully, the game is very generous to its players with its wide array of different combat varieties. The simplest and most common way of playing an RPG title such as this is to just go melee all the way through.

While the game also supports the use of ranged weapons and Psi-powers, there are a couple of melee weapons in Biomutant that will almost transform the game into a fun hack-and-slash open-world game. The best weapons in this game are the ones the player crafts, but there are also those they can pick up from exploring and doing quests. These are the best melee weapons melee users of Biomutant should pick up.

8 Blaze Gloves

The Blaze Gloves is a unique two-handed weapon with an insanely fast attack speed and unique application. While the weapon doesn't come with a Weapon Special Ability, it deals in Heat damage, engulfing enemies in flame once attacked.

This weapon is an amazing melee weapon, but it's far from the best one the player can pick up in the game. This is perfect for those who prefer a fast play style and are juggling between melee and ranged combat. This weapon is a reward for completing Boon's side quest.

7 Jagni Tribe Staff

There are six tribe weapons in the game, one for each tribe. These weapons can be earned by allying with or conquering a tribe. One such weapon is the Jagni Tribe Staff. This is the tribe weapon the player will get for joining or defeating the Jagni Tribe.

This melee weapon is very useful during early and mid-game. It also has a dedicated set of Wung-Fu abilities, as do all other tribe weapons in the game. The Jagni Tribe Staff has a couple of interesting Wung-Fu abilities that make them engaging to use in combat and its damage and attack speed aren't disappointing either.

6 Old World Klunkfist

The Old World Klunkfist is a unique weapon and a quest item that provides a gameplay mechanic necessary in the completion of various missions and side quests. The player will be able to get access to this powerful weapon fairly early in the game. Not only does this help in clearing areas and missions but it's also not too shabby in combat.

This weapon has a dedicated set of Wung-Fu abilities that make using it much more enjoyable and effective. It can also be upgraded to Level 2 by completing Klick's side quest. Once upgraded, this weapon is able to destroy yellow-painted metallic walls.

5 Lump Pinhandle Rolling Pin

The Lump Pinhandle Rolling Pin unique weapon is a marvelous one-handed slash weapon. It incinerates enemies and has a decent attack speed. It also comes with a 6% critical chance rate. The weapon has one addon slot so the player can add even more damage to this destructive weapon.

This weapon is obtained after completing Lump's side quest. This particular quest can go for a while, but seeing it through to the end to earn the Lump Pinhandle Rolling Pin makes the endeavor worthwhile.

4 Knok Umph

The Knok Umph unique weapon is a speedy one-handed slash weapon perfect for those who prefer a fast playstyle. For a one-handed weapon, the Knok Umph has immense base damage. It also deals heat damage, has considerable armor pierce rating and a 12% critical chance.

The Knok Umph comes with the Remedy Special Weapon Ability. With this, the player's health is restored equal to twice the amount of damage they inflict. The weapon can be obtained by completing the Sparkplant Vault Side Quest.

3 Carrothandle Infected Carrot

The Carrothandle Infected Carrot is a very destructive unique weapon. This is a crush-type weapon that has heavier weights and deals higher damage. However, for a crush weapon, the Carrothandle Infected Carrot's attack speed is remarkably brisk.

2 Pri Murgel Sword

The Pri Murgel Sword is an impressively powerful two-handed slash weapon. This weapon's attack speed lies in the middle of the spectrum but the damage output it inflicts more than makes up for this caveat. It also has a decent armor pierce rate and a 6% chance to deal critical attacks.

The Pri Murgel Sword is the reward for successfully finishing the Illumination side quest. To start this quest, the player must first talk to an NPC named Mui. This character can be found hanging around near Anywhere Bangshelter 5D.

1 Srik Gongmace

The Srik Gongmace is an incredibly powerful melee weapon perfect for those who are embracing an ultimate melee tank build. Although the weapon's class is heavy, giving it a very slow attack speed, its damage output is one of the highest in the game. On top of that, it also deals Cold damage, with highly immobilizes enemies. The weapon also comes with the Bump Weapon Special Ability, which knocks smaller enemies to the ground.

To get this powerful weapon, the player must defeat a challenging mini-boss. The enemy in question is named Chug Swollwaft and the player can find him in Chugdepot.
