Michael C. Hall recently shocked fans at San Diego Comic Con 2024 when he announced he would be reprising the role of Dexter Morgan in a sequel series called Dexter: Resurrection. Fans were led to believe that Dexter died of a gunshot wound to the chest at the end of the limited series, Dexter: New Blood. However, that now seems to not be the case at all, and speculation is rife about how the titular serial killer will be brought back and what the story will be in the sequel series, with a brand-new dynamic probably needed for the show to be a success.
