While the initial launch of Genshin Impact featured 21 characters in total, the number steadily grew over the years as players traveled across the continent of Teyvat. Most recently, Fontaine added 17 characters to the list, and despite this ever-growing roster, the newcomers are still capable of establishing themselves as favorites in the community.
