Almost every major Marvel superhero has at one point or another joined the Avengers. The Earth's mightiest heroes are far from the most exclusive superhero team, with many different variations and team combinations appearing in both the comics and MCU over the years. However, in some rare cases, even beloved heroes get cut from the roster.
