Eridium is a highly valued currency in Borderlands 3. Its used to purchase things like cosmetics, weapon skins, Anointed weapons and is the main ammo (currency) of the Eridian Fabricator. While it isnt necessary for completing the game, it opens players up to even more loot and resources, and makes the experience all the more interesting.
