Nintendo released an Indie World Showcase on August 27, with one title presented, a roguelike RPG called Peglin, getting a surprise drop the same day. The Nintendo Switch has long been a major platform for indies since the first Nindies Showcase back in 2017. Indie games have seen a lot of success in recent years, with games like Among Us and Dave the Diver being some major examples.
