User-generated content has been in the gaming industry for decades now, with mods for games like Half-Life and Counter-Strike being some of the earliest examples. While modders can break down a game into its core components, add something new, and build it all back up to produce a fresh experience, some video games let players create their own levels in the game itself, using the tools provided by the developers to do so. The recently announced King of Meat is one such game.
