Valheim's charm stems from many components, from its quaint survivalist fortress setup to its challenging and varied gameplay across its biomes. That's one of the reasons the Iron Gate Studios title is considered one of the most entertaining in the survival genre; the intertwining of several elements into one experience where players fight against the odds in a climate seemingly determined to see the protagonist fail in their quest to escape the Tenth Realm. The harsh world is segmented into biomes, each offering a different complexion to its counterparts, and while all can take some getting used to, the swamp has one of the steepest learning curves in the game.
