As a part of the monster-capturing genre, Palworld has a few features that allow it to try and define itself from the rest of its competition. It has several features common among games of its type, but it also has a few that allow it to distinguish itself due to its survival gameplay elements. However, several thought the Sakurajima update was a good sign for an underbaked feature, as the patch could have changed it enough to help Palworld further stand out. While that may not be the case, it at least emphasizes what fans believe Pocketpair should address in the future.
