In Star Wars Outaws, building Kay's reputation level with various crime syndicates is at the heart of the overall gameplay loop. While there are several ways that Kay can increase and lower her reputation, many of which are not directly tied to the story, there are a select few main story beats that can have a massive impact. These choices are likely to shape which syndicates Kay will ally herself with, especially earlier in the game. One of the best examples of this is Kay being forced to choose between supporting the Ashiga Queen, or supporting her daughter Krisk, who is allied with Crimson Dawn.
