Considering the importance of their role in the series' lore, it's no surprise that the dragon bosses are some of the most challenging and exciting fights in the Dark Souls trilogy. From Dark Souls' Seath the Scaleless to Dark Souls 2's Ancient Dragon and Dark Souls 3's Darkeater Midir, dragon bosses are a signature element of FromSoftware's games, something which has persisted into the award-winning Elden Ring. However, even after Elden Ring's excellent assortment of dragon bosses, one foe from the original Dark Souls still reigns supreme as the best of the bunch: Black Dragon Kalameet.
