Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will include two different gameplay modes, and producer Yoshimi Yasuda recently broke down what changes the Original mode will include ahead of the games release later this month. The original Lollipop Chainsaw launched in 2012 and put players in the role of Juliet Starling, a cheerleader/zombie hunter tasked with battling the undead in a zany adventure penned by future Marvel and DC filmmaker James Gunn and developed by Goichi Suda51 Sudas Grasshopper Manufacture. In 2022, publisher Dragami Games announced that a remaster of the original game was in the works, titled Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP and eventually slated for release on September 12.
