Every weapon can be upgraded in Operations mode in Space Marine 2. As you continue to use a specific weapon, it will gain XP and can be upgraded using a special currency to progress it to the next rarity. This XP can be earned by killing enemies with that specific weapon during an Operation, rewarding players for using their favorite weapons.
