Stardew Valley could bring something entirely new to the Valley with its own version of one of Animal Crossing's long-running NPCs. Stardew Valley's collection of characters spans several different roles, including shopkeepers, love interests, and more. Animal Crossing also benefits greatly from its NPCs, both the villagers who move in as well as those with concrete positions in the town. With that in mind, it should be noted that Animal Crossing has one NPC unlike any that Stardew Valley has to offer. In a future update, a new addition to Pelican Town could fill that unusual niche.
