Gameloft's planned Dungeons & Dragons game could easily get a lot of mileage out of a feature that isn't in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Of course, even if the games share a developer, there are some stark differences between Dungeons & Dragons and Disney that will naturally play out. A Dungeons & Dragons game, especially with what little has been said about the game to date by Gameloft, will need to deliver in a few certain areas in order to succeed. This will lead to some areas where the game will have to stand apart from Disney Dreamlight Valley.
