Valorant players can currently unlock seven Pride 2021 Player Cards, and this guide contains a full walkthrough of the process.

Back in May, developer Riot Games announced that it would be celebrating this year's Pride Month by adding some unique content to its various titles. That has now come to pass, and in Valorant the Pride content has materialized as some new Player Cards. For those fans that are interested in obtaining the Valorant Pride 2021 Player Cards, this guide contains full details on exactly what must be done.

The first step to earning the Pride Player Cards is to visit redeem.playvalorant.com, which is the official website for redeeming codes. Notably, there have been some issues with the site since the release of Valorant's Duality Player Card earlier this week, and indeed fans may encounter an error when they attempt to visit it. Unfortunately, there is not a great deal that can be done about that, and players the the want the Cards may need to try the site again at a later date.

After accessing the redemption code website, Valorant players should simply login and start entering the Pride Player Card codes into the empty box that they encounter. Here is a list of all of those codes, and players should make sure to hit "Submit" after inputting each one of them:

  • Cottoncandy
  • Primary
  • Galactic
  • Sunset
  • Twilight
  • Sherbet
  • Prismatic

When that is done, fans should find that the Pride Player Cards have unlocked in-game, and they will then be free to equip them. This action will place the selected Card behind a player's name, and it will be visible in their lobbies and when joining matches. Indeed, Player Cards essentially serve as cosmetic items in Valorant, and many fans are sure to be excited about these new offerings.

As previously noted, Valorant Player Cards are not the only way that Riot Games is celebrating Pride, as there is free personalization content in its other games as well. For example, League of Legends' Rainbow Poro Icons let players activate special homeguard trails that celebrate the LGTBQIA+ community, while Legends of Runeterra receives a Pride Emote, Icons, and Guardian. And when it comes to Teamfight Tactics, there is a Pride boom for fans to use.

Riot Games is also offering some Pride merch that players can use out-of-game, including mugs and shirts. These items will be available through the end of July, and fans that are waiting to get into the Valorant redemption code website, so that they can claim the Pride Player Cards, may want to give them a look.

Valorant is available now on PC.
