With God of War's Norse saga now officially over after God of War Ragnarok and its accompanying Valhalla DLC, it's unclear where the series will go next. Some rumors have suggested the next games could focus more on Atreus than Kratos, as he departs from his father at the end of God of War Ragnarok in pursuit of his own goals. However, the notion remains that Kratos' story isn't over yet, despite his personal journey of growth finally concluding God of War Ragnarok's Valhalla DLC. Wherever the series goes from here, it will likely begin a brand-new saga for the father and son, possibly even taking players somewhere they have never been in God of War.
