Unlike Toby Fox's previous work, Deltarune is an episodic RPG that has had its release spread out over the last few years. The first chapter was shadow-dropped in 2018, with its second chapter having a similar surprise release in 2021. Currently, fans are anticipating the release of Deltarune's next set of chapters, which are Chapters 3 and 4 at the same time.
