Since Hollow Knight: Silksong is still in development, there is still time for the developers to implement features that will enhance its gameplay. The game's predecessor had many things that made it an enjoyable experience, and players were also provided the option to mod the game to make it even better, either for themselves or for everyone else. Silksong could benefit from turning some of those modded features into an official part of the game, but the developers must be careful when choosing which ones to use. If it's meant to help take the sequel to new heights, then one particularly incredible mod for Hollow Knight should be highly considered.
