Resident Evil: Village is almost upon us, and here are all the pre-order bonuses and special editions that Capcom has in store for every fan.

Resident Evil: Village is now only a few months away from launch after Capcom confirmed the game's release date last week, which falls on May 7th, 2021. Apart from its release date, Capcom also unveiled several things about Resident Evil: Village, such as its gameplay, characters, an overview of the game's plot, and the many special editions players can purchase.

Now, for players interested in knowing what Capcom has in store for Resident Evil: Village, here are all the special editions that players can choose from.

Resident Evil: Village is now available to pre-order, and during Capcom's showcase event last week, the company revealed that the game would also release on the PS4 and Xbox One, alongside the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Players who will pre-order the game will receive two digital items: the Mr. Raccoon weapon charm, the survival resource pack, and a mini-soundtrack.

First on the list is the Resident Evil: Village and Resident Evil 7 Complete bundle. As the name clearly suggests, this edition bundles together Resident Evil: Village and Resident Evil 7 in one solid package that will retail for $79.99. It is worth noting, though, that this bundle is only available digitally, and players on the PlayStation will immediately have access to Resident Evil 7 upon purchase, while those on the Xbox would have to wait for the release of Resident Evil: Village to play either game. Given that Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil: Village are closely linked together in terms of story, this bundle is perfect for those who still haven't played the 2017 game.

Next up is Resident Evil: Village Deluxe Edition, which contains the main game alongside several in-game goodies. Included in the Deluxe Edition is the Trauma Pack, which features Albert01Christ weapon, Found Footage RE7 Filter, Mr. Everywhere Weapon Charm, Safer Room Music, Save Device, The Tragedy of Ethan Winters Artwork, and Village of Shadows difficulty. The Deluxe Edition of Resident Evil: Village will be available at $69.99, which is a good price given that it is only $10 more than the Standard Edition.

Now for players who are dedicated fans of the Resident Evil franchise, Capcom is also offering a Collector's Edition for Resident Evil: Village. This ultimate bundle includes everything in the Deluxe Edition alongside some physical goodies perfect for fans of the franchise. In the Collector's Edition, players will also receive a Chris Redfield figure, an art book showing off the game's design, a poster, a box, and a steelbook case. The Resident Evil: Village Collector's Edition is currently available for $220.

Although the three special editions mentioned were the only ones Capcom showcased at its recent presentation, the company still has one more special version of Resident Evil: Village for the most dedicated Resident Evil fan. The Resident Evil: Village: The Complete Set Collector's Edition was silently added to Capcom's online store in Japan. Alongside everything that is included in Resident Evil Village's Collector's Edition, The Complete Set also includes three new items: a 1/6 scale set of equipment miniatures, an illustrated book called "Village of Shadows," and a buttonless Chester coat, modeled after the same garment Chris Redfield wears in the game.

If players think that the Collector's Edition is already expensive, the Complete Set Collector's Edition is 30 times more than the base game and is priced at 192,500 yen or approximately USD 1800. Of course, while this edition may appear too expensive to justify, it is definitely worth it for players who are longtime fans of the Resident Evil franchise, especially now that the series is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Resident Evil: Village launches May 7, 2021, for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
