Throughout World of Warcraft, you can find sets that provide certain bonuses if you have items from the same set. Aside from the heirloom set bonuses, the most common example of set bonuses would be from raid tier gear. Every class has a set of armor that only they can use, and these sets often provide bonuses that are so powerful that they take priority over other armor.
