Frostpunk 2 lets players return to New London as the Captain's successor the Steward. In the sequel to 2018's Frostpunk, players are tasked with managing the wants and ideas of several competing Factions, each of which are represented on the City Council. To succeed in building a future for New London, players need to prevent Unrest and Tension from building, as this results in riots, protests, civil war, and eventually a game over. To do this, players must use the Deradicalization mechanic.
