A new month is here and although there's still a long wait before the next Standard legal Magic: The Gathering set's release, that doesn't mean there aren't some exciting new events on the way to Magic Arena. With Strixhaven now a few months old, some players may be feeling the need for a little variety to break up the Strixhaven Limited grind. Luckily, that's exactly what is on the way to the mobile and PC friendly version of MtG this month.
In addition to a fresh rotation of draft options that includes revisiting the Theros Beyond Death format, Magic Arena's June calendar of events is going to bringing back Jumpstart packs for smashing together a quick and exciting deck and a new Cube list is arriving to offer some high-powered drafting options.

Jumpstart packs and Cube drafts are two very popular formats for Magic fans, which should help keep players engaged in the Magic Arena scene as the community waits for more DnD-themed Forgotten Realms spoilers to arrive before the summer set officially releases in late July 2021...

For now that is everything on the calendar for June, but keep in mind that special events can always pop up without warning, so it's worth checking in from time to time and taking a quick look at what is available from day to day. The Jumpstart and Cube options will likely be the most popular options, but some fans will always want to continue getting in as many Strixhaven drafts as possible before the Dungeons and Dragons set arrives in July.
As always, players can also queue up for casual or ranked Constructed play at any time. Those matches are free and are the primary way lots of players attempt to climb the ranked Constructed ladder all the way up to the Mythic Tier. Reaching that level of play requires a ton of practice, play, and grinding; but is a great way to try and qualify for special tournament invites and prizes in the competitive card game.
Magic Arena is available now for PC and Mac.
