There are a lot of references in World of Warcraft to various bits of pop culture, and one of the most famous WoW references is the Dalaran Sewer Turtles. Originally found in Legion Dalaran's sewers, these four turtles could be found gathered around a Sewer Rat in an obvious reference to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
