Hollow Knight: Silksong, though obfuscated by an air of mystery, is expected to improve upon what came before it. With Silksong having a different protagonist, a new setting, and, theoretically, a radically different approach to core game mechanics, there are a number of ways that Team Cherry can meet these high expectations, taking what worked in the first game and experimenting with them.
