Fortnite's current season is coming to an end, and a new one is planned to begin in just a few short days. Thanks to various teasers, leaks, and speculation, it's basically all but confirmed that season 7 of Fortnite will be themed around aliens. Crop circles have been popping up at the Colossal Crops point of interest, and some players are even getting abducted by alien UFOs and dropped into random locations around the map.
And to add to all of that, some Fortnite players and content creators have been receiving mysterious postcards in the mail that say "they're coming," obviously referring to aliens of some sort. There's also a phone number on the side of the postcard, and it originates from Roswell in New Mexico, which would make sense since Roswell is well known for reportedly being the location of a UFO crash site back in the '40s.

For the players out there interested in the lore of Fortnite and would like to call the secret number, here it is. The alien phone number is 1 (575) 291-7617. If fans call the number, they'll be greeted with a 30-second message that's full of loud static and weird noises. Twitter user @lacweal1 shared their phone call and, if people listen closely, they can hear someone saying, "there is something weird going on." It appears that the message that people hear has been changing depending on the time. If someone were to call it now, they could also hear someone say "watch the sky" and "they have found us."
Fortnite's current season is set to end on June 7, and Season 7 should kick off the next day on June 8, bringing in some alien theme to the table this time around. Considering that this season's theme was Primal, the next theme should be quite the drastic change for Fortnite. Epic Games has been quiet on what's exactly coming, but maybe Metroid fans will finally get to play as the bounty hunter, Samus Aran, as her skin was leaked, leading folks to believe that she's coming to the game soon.
Either way, season 7 will have tons of new quests and challenges for players to complete, giving Fortnite fans plenty of content to dive into once again.
